Edward M. Cunningham of Upper Darby, Pa., died Monday, May 5, 2008. He was 60. Raised in Needham, he was a son of the late Owen and Catherine Cunningham. He was a resident of Upper Darby, Pa., for many years, and was formerly of Broomall, Pa.

Mr. Cunningham was a graduate of Needham High School, Class of 1966. He was a 1977 graduate of Villanova University.

He leaves his wife of 38 years, Mary (Deegan) Cunningham; his children, Owen, Daniel and Brendan Cunningham, all of Pennsylvania, and Luke Cunningham of New York; his sister, Mary Cunningham of Quincy; his brother, Phil Cunningham of Needham; three grandchildren, Gavin, Benjamin and Audrey; and many nieces and nephews.  He was brother of the late Mark Cunningham.

His funeral Mass was celebrated Friday, May 9, at Church of St. Laurence, Upper Darby.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to Bonner Rowing Association, P.O. Box 72, Drexel Hill, PA 19026.
