CONCANNON, William A. Of Needham, retired Needham police officer, affectionately known to many as Pa, February 28, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Suzanne (McCracken).  Born April 20, 1948, in Wurzburg, Germany, to the late Capt. Joseph F. Concannon and Catherine E. (Droney). Loving father of William A. Concannon, Jr. and his wife Carol (Griffin), James J. Concannon and his wife Sarah (Smithline), and Kevin M. Concannon and his wife Danielle (Fiorentino). Devoted grandfather to his ten adoring grandchildren, 

John, Brian, James, Erin, Lindsey, Lauren, Thomas, Kaitlyn, Andrew, and Sean, all of Needham. Also survived by his brother Joseph F. Concannon, Jr. of Norfolk; as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., NEEDHAM, on Thursday, March 6, at 9am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Needham, at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
