Sherrie was a dear friend all through elementary and high school. Although we went our different ways after that, we always stayed in touch and found a closeness again sharing experiences in 2005 when Jim's health took such a bad turn. I will always be thankful for the correspondence we had for the next five years until her disease caught up with her and she left us all too soon.  I cherish the memories of good times with Cindy and JoAnne and so many others at NHS. Here is the obituary published at the time of her death.

I would run into Sherrie occasionally in Medfield while shopping. It was always fun to catch up with her. I was so saddened to hear that she had passed away. She was always so much fun to be with when we r were in high school. Way too young to have left us.

Sherrie and I met in early elementary school and remained close friends throughout our school years, college days and beyond, although in later years we communicated by phone, snail mail and emails. I cherish the memories of times spent together. Sherrie was a runner-up in the annual 4th of July Miss Needham contest, but her true beauty came from within. She was always caring and compassionate, fun to be with, and will be truly missed.
